Kathleen Hansen (Director of San Diego Sweet Adelines Chorus) put together this document containing a wealth of information on putting together virtual choir projects.
In her words: “This is a compilation of information I’ve collected through various connections: interviewing a number of people who have been making virtual choirs, information I’ve gathered from social media and YouTube, and my own experiences. The intended audience is primarily for those who are learning to make virtual choirs and other multi-track collaborations. This is a living document and a work in progress. I am happy to provide updates as I learn new information.”
The document currently contains:
- descriptions of different methods of pulling together and storing files for virtual choir projects
- a list of software for creating musical collaboration projects
- troubleshooting suggestions/resources
- a list of video tutorials
- names and contact info for some people who can help put these projects together
- examples of existing virtual projects, along with the software they used
